Last Friday (May 31st), was the night that changed my life forever!!! Ok... I'm putting dubs on the situation. It rained (my hair frizzed up), we were rushing (some last minute shopping), and we were late. But, the night was fabulous, nonetheless...

I Decided...

Off the record, I may be becoming more of a Solange fan than I am of Beyonce... *GASP* Did I really just say that aloud??? Ok, maybe I won't go to that extreme (LOVE me some Bee!!!), but I am feeling Solange SO hard right now!! I have been waiting for months for this video to be released, since I have been playing the song at least 5 times a day (no exaggeration). Everything that I've heard off of her new album is super hot and I LOVE that she is taking a different direction with her music than pretty much any artist out right now. She has always gone a bit to the left, even on her first album, Solo Star, but this album shows her taking alot more risks. Its inevitable that she will be compared to her sister, just because, but there really is no comparison. They are really in two different leagues.

"I Decided" is the first single off of Solange's sophomore album, Sol-Angel and the Hadley Street Dreams.

Earlier today, Usher made appearances on both 106 & Park and TRL to promote his new album, Here I Stand, which was released today. While on TRL, this fool decides to pull a Kanye and and throw a temper tantrum regarding the rumors surrounding him and the relationship with his wife, Tameka Foster. Is it just me, or could you care less about that foolishness???

Truth or Dare

I have been feeling really blah lately. Things haven't exactly been going my way. Seems like I take one step forward and three steps back. I know its only a matter of time until this passes, but until then... it sucks!!! While I was in the shower, I was trying to think of something to do to cheer myself up, and then it hit me!! Playing games always puts me in a good mood. I know, I'm such a goofball... but I can't help it :-) So... that realization, coupled with the fact that I haven't really blogged in a while, led me to come up with this [brilliant] idea... How about a game of blogger truth or dare?!?! I know, I'm excited too!!!

So this is how it works:

• To start the game, leave a comment on this post with either a truth or dare question
• I will pick my fave truth or dare and respond (Truth: I will answer the question; Dare: I will perform the dare and take pics to prove it... ha!)
• Tag! You're "It"!! The blogger that I choose (Blogger A) will tag another blogger (Blogger B) who, in turn, will have to ask "Truth or Dare" to Blogger A
• Blogger A will either answer the question or perform the dare
• Blogger B will tag someone else and continue the process

I've got nothing....

I know I've been M.I.A. (well, not really... been lurking around other blogs) for hella long. That's cuz I find that I have had nothing to blog about. Don't get me wrong... A LOT has been going on... but its a lot of nothing. I'll get my mojo back soon... I hope :-(

Let Freedom Ring!!!

I think I may be the only one who actually cares about this, but my girl Foxy was released from prison this past Friday!!! I'm sooooooo friggin' happy!! I love this chick... most people tend to hop on the Lil' Kim train, but I ride HARD, for my girl Inga (first name basis...lol!). Yeah, she may have a bit of an issue when it comes to anything remotely related to a nail salon or beauty supply. But we all have something that makes us tick, right?? Ok, maybe not that extreme, but WHATEV... I still love her (don't judge me)!! I just hope she has learned her lesson during the 8 months that she was locked up. She is way too talented be acting a plum fool out here in these streets!!

Can't wait for Brooklyn's Don Diva to drop... its been 7 years since Broken Silence (a classic if you ask me) and I'm getting antsy!!

Ok... so, I think I'm becoming a nail freak!!! I just LOVE trying new odd and crazy combos... it just makes me tingly all over...

My girl Whitney was SO on-point last week on The Hills with that turquoise nail polish, and I have been on a wild goose hunt for a Tiffany Blue hue since I saw that episode.

Lo and behold, I ran across a blog that featured THEE perfect shade!!! Apparently it is sold out everywhere except online... Needless to say, I will be placing my order ASAP!!! I'm sure it'll be a while before I actually own one of those little jewelry boxes of the same color, so until then, I can still front with my fingertips :-P
